Vellore Intitute of Technology (VITEEE) 2020 Application Form has been released. Vellore Institute of Technology conducts VITEEE for the intake of the candidates' aspiring admission in BTech programs in VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP and VIP Bhopal. It is a prestigious institute and offer 36 undergraduate (UG), 31 postgraduate (PG), 4 integrated & 3 research programmes.
VIT University is the main authority which organizes a university level entrance examination. This exam will be organized in 118 cities across India and abroad (Dubai, Kuwait, and Muscat).

VITEEE 2020 : Exam Date and other Important Dates
Registration form for the entrance exam usually released in last week of September. For VITEEE 2020 forms are released on 27th September 2019. Following are the important dates to keep a note of:
VITEEE 2020 : Application Form
- The application form for VITEEE 2020 is available in online as well as offline mode.
- The online form can be obtained from the official university website www.vit.ac.in and the offline form from the selected post offices whose details will be provided on the website.
- A separate application form is made available for foreign candidates and will have to apply directly through foreign category only.
- The applicants will have to provide the details such as name, gender, category, address, educational qualification, etc in the application form.
- After entering all the details in the form, upload the scanned images of photograph and signature, the candidates will have to submit it along with the required application fee. However, the university also provide the opportunity to make correctionin the application form.
- The OMR application form should be enclosed in the printed envelope provided, addressed to Director- UG Admissions, VIT University, Vellore- 632 014 and send it through registered post/ speed post. The online form should be submitted online only.

Application fee can be made through NET Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Demand Draft (DD).
VITEEE 2020: New Exam Pattern
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has made a slight change in the exam pattern this year. It included an aptitude section in its computer-based test “VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE)” starting with the 2020-21 batch.
There will be 10 aptitude questions and 5 questions have been reduced from physics and chemistry each. Candidates will get 2 hours 30 minutes to solve the questions and there is no negative marking. Smmerised information will be like this :

VITEEE 2020: Syllabus

VITEEE 2020: Suggested Books
The syllabus of VITEEE is more or less same as the JEE Main hence for theory students should study JEE Main books. A little more practice is required for Aptitude and English so we suggest following books:
VITEEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must fulfil the eligibility criteria as mentioed before submission of application form:
- Age Limit:Candidates whose date of birth fall on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible.
- Nationality:The applicant will have to be a Resident/ NON Resident of India/PIO. Foreign candidates are also eligible.
- Minimum Qualification:Aspirant shouls either appearing or completed class 12th, intermediate or 2-year pre university, class 10th appearing or completed for foreign students, General Certificate Education (GCE) examination at Advanced (A) level, NIOS board candidates can apply.
- Subjects:Must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English (PCME) for all B.Tech degrees program. Whereas those who have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English (PCBE) will only be eligible for B.Tech & BIO-Stream degree programmes (bio-engineering, bio-technology, CSE with spl. in bioinformatics & ECE with spl. in bio-medical engineering programmes.
- Qualifying Marks : General Category- Candidates should have scored an aggregate of 60% in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry in 10+2.
SC, ST, J&K, North Eastern states- Candidates should have scored an average 50% marks in Physics, Maths, and Chemistry in 10+2 or its equivalent exam.
VITEEE 2020 Slot Booking
VITEEE is an online exam that will held from Second to third week of April 2020. There will be 3 shifts per day as per the timing below:
All candidates will have to book their slot to generate admit card. Selection of city & timings will be done by candidate while booking the slot.
Once confirmed no candidate will be allowed to change their slots. Hence be careful white selecting date, time, city during the process. The process will take place during Second week of March, 2020. Candidates will be notified for the same.
VITEEE 2020 : Admit Card
The admit card will be generated for the candidates once they book the test slot through Online Test Booking System. The candidates will have to enter their application form number and online test booking password in order to download the admit card. The candidate must carry the admit card to the exam center in order to appear for the exam.
VITEEE 2020 : Result
VITEEE is an online exam and hence result processing does not take much time. By 30th April 2020, the result will be published on VIT official website of the. Candidates will get the information about their rank on their registered mobile number also. Based on the merit list qualified candidates will be shortlisted and will be called for the counselling.

VITEEE 2020 : Counselling
The shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the counselling process. The candidates will be required to attend the counselling in person. The candidates will have to carry the important documents along with them at the time of counselling for verification purpose. After verification of documents and other eligibility requirements, the candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling.
