How to Score 95 in CBSE XII English Core

It’s simple, follow these tips to perfect your approach to prepare for your English exam, and score over 95 in your Boards exam.
  1. Section A – Reading: Read through the passages. Mark important points in the passages while reading them. It will help you find the appropriate answers for the questions that follow. Practise solving as many unseen passages as possible within a timeframe so that you get used to reading and solving the Reading Section quickly that too in the shortest time possible. Refer Score More 21 Sample papers to practice this section. Because these sample papers are strictly designed on the new guidelines issued by CBSE board.
  2. Section B – Writing: Learn the formats and practise, practise, practise. Do the question which you are absolutely confident about. Think before you write. Jot down your thoughts to help you maintain a flow in the answer. Begin with an introduction and end with a conclusion. Remember, you have to write a grammatically error-free answer with little to no spelling mistakes within the set word limit. To practice this section in more effective manner, you must solve CBSEsample papers for Class 12th English exam.
  3. Section C – Literature: Stick to your NCERT course books. Read each chapter and poem in your prescribed textbook thoroughly. If you are unable to understand something, ask your teacher or refer to help books, such as MTG CBSE Champion English Core, Together with English, etc. to clear any of your doubts. To know that you have understood a chapter/poem properly, write a summary of the same in your own words.
  4.  Don’t leave the novels for the last minute. The long answer questions from the novels, carrying 6 marks, are there to assess your understanding of the plot, characters, etc. Understand thoroughly and learn the character sketches, important events, milestones, plot twists, etc. in the novels because there is going to be questions based on it.
The most important is to practice on Previous Years Papers and CBSE Sample Papers of English Core. Try to solve the papers within three hours (the duration of the actual exam) while adhering to the guidelines mentioned above.
I hope your query is resolved. Wish you good luck for the upcoming board exam.

All the Best!
